This 3D modeling project transforms the Stylized Retro TV by dcook1982 into a stylized retro radio. The original model was downloaded from Blend Swap and modified to give it the appearance of a vintage radio.

The radio lines were created using Boxy SVG and added to the model as part of its design. These lines can be hidden by adjusting the Mix Shader or changing the material settings in Blender, allowing the appearance of the radio to be customized.

The model can also be further modified in Edit Mode. For example, the dials can be adjusted by removing the top dial or duplicating the bottom one to create a different layout.

After completing the modifications, I discovered that dcook1982 had also created a dedicated retro radio model, available on Blend Swap. I found this model after finishing my own conversion of the television.

This project explores 3D model modification, material customization, and the creative process of adapting an existing asset into a new object.
